NMB Bank is issuing bonds from Chait 21st, how much interest will you get?
Kathmandu, March 23: NMB Bank is going to issue bonds worth 4 billion rupees from Chait 21st. The bank is about to issue a bond named ‘NMB Debenture 10.75%-2089/2090’ with an annual interest rate of 10.75% for a period of 10 years. The bank is about to issue 40 million bonds worth Rs 4 billion at a nominal rate of Rs 1,000 per share. The bank has informed that 60 percent of the total debentures, i.e. 2.4 lakh shares worth Rs 2.44 crore, will be sold individually and the remaining 40 per cent, i.e. 1.6 lakh shares worth Rs 1.60 crore, will be sold to the general public.
Of the 40% bonds to be distributed to the general public, 80,000 bonds of 5% rate have been allocated for collective investment funds, and 45,000 bonds have been distributed. The rest of the bonds that have not been distributed to the collective investment fund are also going to be sold to the general public. In this bond, investors can demand from a minimum of 25 shares to a maximum of 1.6 million shares. The bank’s securities issue and sales manager is NIBL S Capital Limited. Investors can apply from all C-ASBA member banks and financial institutions approved by the Nepal Securities Board along with the sales manager and their designated branch offices.
