Earthquake tremor felt in Sudurpaschim hill districts

Baitadi, Dec 30 : An earthquake tremor has been felt in the hilly districts of the Sudurpaschim province, including in Baitadi. The tremor occurred at 12.53 am on Wednesday and was felt in Baitadi and Darchula, among other districts.

Technical assistant at the Seismological Centre Surkhet, Rajesh Sharma said the epicentre of the earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale was at Khada, Uttarakhanda of India. So far there are no reports of any damage or casualties from the tremor, police said.
