351 new COVID-19 cases detected, nine succumb to virus
Kathmandu, Nov 23: The country has recorded 351 more COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. This takes the COVID-19 caseload to 819,699 so far.
The new number of COVID-19 cases was recorded in course of conducting 10,174 tests. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 273 COVID-19 patients have recovered from the deadly infection in the same period.
The recovery caseload mounts to 800,890 till date. The recovery rate stands at 97.7 per cent, shared the Ministry. Also today, nine COVID-19 patients succumbed to COVID-19, taking the death toll to 11,500 as of now. The case fatality rate is 1.4 per cent.
There are 7,300 active cases of Coronavirus in the country. Meanwhile, 98,511 people were vaccinated against the flu-like infection in the past 24 hours, informed the Ministry.
