End of the ‘memo age’: Minister Banskota
Kavre, Dec 29 : Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Banskota has said that the age of going to development offices with memorandum has come to an end. Inaugurating a school building in Roshi rural municipality-1 on Saturday, he said as all the three tiers of governments were waging the mega campaign of development as per the people’s aspiration there was no need of such memos now. “Governments now have reached the villages, and they will work as per the needs of the local people,” he said.
He also said that the present government was now focused on the inauguration year after the first year of planning and second year of laying foundations. “Development is the right of the people, and the government’s goal is making people happy with development and prosperity,” he said while referring to the government’s slogan of ‘prosperous Nepal happy Nepalis,’Minister Banskota, also government spokesperson, emphasized on the need to strengthen production of human resource essential for the country.
