NCP Standing Committee meeting- unification yet to reach lower levels

Kathmandu, Dec 17 : Standing Committee (SC) members of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) have complained that the party unification was not completed as per the expectation and aspirations. While speaking in the SC meeting, the leaders said that the party unification bid should be completed up to grassroots from the centre.

The standing committee members are expressing their views on the political report tabled by the chairmen duo KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ in the meeting that began at the party central office Dhumbarahi from December15.

According to party Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha, members are commenting on the report and have suggested the leadership on various issues. The SC members, Nanda Kumar Prasain (invitee), Surendra Pandey, Amrit Bohara, Beduram Bhusal, Shankar Pokharel, Raghubir Mahaseth, Keshav Badal, Bishnu Pukar Shrestha (invitee), Lekhraj Bhatta, Ghanashyam Bhusal, Shakti Basnet, Mani Thapa and Janardan Sharma put forth their views in meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting continues at 11:00 am tomorrow in the central office.
