Three adolescent girls drowned to death

Lamahi, July 22ः Three adolescent girls died after being drowned in a pond in Dang. The three lost their lives while swimming in the pond that was constructed nearby Katuwa rivulet at Ghorahi sub-metropolis-18 for irrigation. The deceased have been identified as Basanti BK, 19, of Ghorahi sub-metropolis-18, Ambapur, Jharana BK, 19, of Ghorahi-18, Salghari and Jharana’s 16-year-old sister Amrita BK, informed Binod Bikram Shah, Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) at District Police Office Dang.

They breathed their last while taking dips in the pond at around 7.45 pm on Sunday, he further shared. Police rescued them from the pond and took to the Rapti Institute of Health Academy.
