How long will permanent shareholders get the dividend of NIC Asia Bank?

Kathmandu, sept 22: NIC Asia Bank has held its Annual General Meeting. The bank has convened its 26th annual general meeting to pass the dividend proposal. The meeting held today by the bank’s board of directors has decided to hold the annual general meeting on October 28. The meeting will start from 9 am at Bhadrakali Army Officers Club, Kathmandu.

The meeting will pass a special resolution to distribute 29 percent bonus shares of the current paid-up capital and 1.52 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. The shareholders will receive the proposed dividend after approval by the annual general meeting of the bank.

The bank has decided to close the books from October 3 to October 15 for the purpose of dividend and annual general meeting. This means that only the shareholders who have been transacted in NEPSE till October 15th will be able to receive the dividend of this bank and participate in the meeting.
