Kathmandu, July 23 : Prime Minister and Chair of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), KP Sharma Oli has accused main opposition Nepali Congress of developing a culture in seeing other parties in the government autocratic while staying in opposition.

In his address to a programme organised by the CPN Secretariat today on the occasion of the 40th Memorial Day of CPN’s founding general secretary Pushpalal today, the party chair said it was not appropriate to describe the government with people’s two-thirds majority ‘totalitarian’.

He went on to say that reactionary forces got worried as they found themselves in opposition, accusing the NC of failing to demonstrate the character of a democratic opposition. The Prime Minister insisted the need for the guarantee of social justice to make the people happy, saying the government was heading towards that end.
