NC CWC meeting continues

Kathmandu, April 22 : The Central Working Committee meeting of the Nepali Congress continued today.
The meeting was postponed on April 20 as most of the central committee members were out of Kathmandu Valley. The meeting is holding discussions on reasons behind the defeat of the party in the recent federal, provincial and local elections.
In today’s meeting eight CC members presented their views on the issues.

Speaking at the meeting, NC leader Kul Bahadur Gurung blamed the leadership for the defeat of the party. He has presented his views in written form.
On the other hand, leader Min Bishwakarma said that the left alliance was the major cause behind the NC’s defeat in the elections.

Likewise, leader Pradeep Poudel called for early general convention of the party for party reforms.
Leaders Ishwari Neupane, Devendra Raj Kandel and Bahadur Singh Lama also expressed their opinions. Next meeting is scheduled for 8:30 am tomorrow.(RSS)
