Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolis prohibits Facebook during office hours
Pokhara, April 2 : The Pokhara Lekhanath Metropolitan City Office has banned the use of Facebook during the office hours.
The decision follows the public complaints about its impact on service delivery. The public complaint was that its use by office employees with the help of mobile phone, laptop and desktop computers had negatively affected the service delivery, according to the office.
The Facebook network has been made dysfunctional in the office hours (from 10: 15 am to 4:00 pm), office information technology officer Ashok Dware confirmed.
Besides, the use of this social site through the mobile data in cell phones has also been prohibited during the office hours. In case of the violation of the decision, immediate action will be taken, office chief Man Bahadur GC said.
