Parliamentary committees to elect presidents on Aug 28

Kathmandu, Aug 24: Ten thematic committees formed under the House of Representatives (HoR) will elect presidents on August 28. Speaker Devraj Ghimire shared information that election to get presidents for the parliamentary committees will be held at 3:00 pm on August 28. HoR Secretary Padam Prasad Pandeya has been assigned for conducting the election.

Similarly, as per HoR regulation, the session on question and answer with Prime Minister in parliament will be held on August 29. For this, the lawmakers can submit their written questions within Friday. The HoR meeting will convene next at 11:00am on August 29. –
