NA running projects meeting public aspirations: DPM Pokharel
Kathmandu, July 9 : Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense Ishwar Pokharel has said that the Nepal Army (NA) was executing development projects as per the constitution, national security policy and the aspirations of people.
Responding to the questions raised by lawmakers during deliberations on the appropriation bill in the National Assembly meeting today, DPM Pokharel said that the national pride project, Kathmandu -Tarai Fast Track will be completed on time.
He also clarified that the required budget was allocated for Nepal Army with an objective of making the institution stronger and well equipped even to tackle the natural disasters.
DPM Pokharel also shared that the NA was presently constructing 27 roads and 30 bridges in the country.
