Scraping the decisions taken against Election Code of Conduct appropriate: Leader Nepal

Biratnagar, July 6: Senior leader Communist Party of Nepal (CNP) Madhav Kumar Nepal has argued that the decision of the incumbent government to scrap the decisions made by erstwhile government against the Election Code of Conduction was an appropriate move.
Speaking to the media persons at Biratnagar Airport in today, leader Nepal stated “The incumbent government taking decisions to annul decisions made by pervious government has given impetus to establish a system in the country.”


Nepal was referring to the decision made by the Council of Ministers held on Wednesday according to which all political appointments made after August 30, 2017 to various ministries, corporations, councils, board and organized institutions, by then government after the election code of conduct was introduced for the House of Representatives and National Assembly elections-2074.
He was of the view that the incumbent government made the decisions as those decisions were made during the transitional phase and without consultation and cooperation with his party.
The former Prime Minister, in reference to it, said that it was difficult to address the demands of agitating Dr Govinda KC.
He urged Dr KC, who has been staging hunger strike in Jumla for the 15th times demanding reforms in the medical education and health sector in the country, to stop protesting and join the dialogue with the government to seek resolutions.
Leader Nepal also urged the major opposition party, Nepali Congress, to fulfill the role of responsible opposition party and not to be emotional.
