State Minister-SAARC General Secretary meet

Kathmandu, May 24 : Minister of State for Information and Communications Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota and General Secretary of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Amjad Hussain B Sial held a courtesy meeting at the Ministry office in Singha Durbar on Wednesday.

They discussed the issues related to the exchange of information, communication and technology in the meeting, the Ministry shared.

On the occasion, Minister of State for ICT Baskota stressed the need for making the SAARC viable for the holistic development of the region.

General Secretary Sial expressed happiness for Nepal having successful conclusion of all three levels of elections, while saying he was ready to cooperate with ‘the prosperous Nepal building plan’ spearheaded by Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. (RSS)
