Government to bear expenses of Rastrakavi’s treatment
Kathmandu, May 21 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has enquired the health condition of Rastrakavi (National Poet) Madhav Prasad Ghimire by reaching the Grandee International Hospital in Kathmandu on Monday.
Rastrakavi Ghimire, who is suffering from internal bleeding, is currently undergoing treatment in the Hospital for a week.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli pledged to bear the costs involved during the treatment of Ghimire from the government side.
He also made a telephone call to Indian doctors regarding further treatment of poet Ghimire. PM Oli told Ghimire, “The government will arrange your treatment abroad if it is required.”
According to PM Oli’s press coordinator Chetan Adhikari, the PM directed the doctors attending Ghimire not to leave any stone unturned in course of his treatment. The national poet is near to his 100.(RSS)
