Nine Rolpa folks die in tipper accident

Rolpa, July 6 : At least nine people from Rolpa district lost their lives in a tipper accident in Mustang.
As many as 15 workers including Rolpa folks died, when a tipper (Na 2 Kha 2219) carrying road construction workers, met with the accident at Syangboche in Mustang, police confirmed.

The deceased have been identified as Sukman Roka (28), Mausam Gharti (36), Jeetmaya Gharti (31) of Thawang-5, Srijana Roka (20), Rastre Roka, (23), Jeet Kumari Pun (23), and Mahesh Roka (11).
Suntu Gharti, 32, and Rajkumar Pun, 32, of Sunchhahari rural municipality also lost their lives in the accident, shared Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) at District Police Office Rolpa, Gyanendra Phuyal.

Labourers of Rolpa usually move to Pokhara and Mustang in course of the search for employment. Rolpa has seen shock wave with the demise of a large number of district folks in an accident at once.(RSS)
