Tourism main basis for country’s prosperity: Chairman Dahal

Kathmandu, May 11 : CPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the country was now heading towards development and prosperity.
Releasing a book titled ‘Hinde Pugincha’ (If you walk then you reach) by tourism entrepreneur Rajan Simkhada here today, he said as tourism is the main basis for the country’s prosperity all should pay attention to promoting it. “Now is the time to move towards a new journey of development and prosperity, and tourism is the main basis for it,” he said.

He also expressed the confidence that the book by entrepreneur Simkhada would promote attraction towards tourism and instil self-confidence and vigour in the youth generation.

On the occasion, ‘late Narayan Prasad Simkhada Young Peasant Entrepreneur Award’ was announced. The prize carrying a purse of Rs. 50,000 will be presented every year to an individual making notable contribution to the agriculture sector. (RSS)
