Luitel elected Chair of FNJ Province 1 committee

Surunga, Jhapa : Bikram Luitel has been elected Chair of Province 1 committee of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ).
Luitel, who represents a joint panel in the election, got 931 votes. Likewise, Som Nath Suseli was picked as Vice Chair with 923 votes to his credit. Smita Niraula has been elected as Vice Chair from women quota, while Bibek Gautam General was elected Secretary. Niraula garnered 858 votes, and Gautam 884 votes.

Buddha Bir Rai was elected Secretary from inclusive category. Likewise, members who were picked under open category are Dilli Ram Khatiwada, Tirtha Sigdel, Buddhi Prasad Lamichhane, Bipendra Gautam and Shashi Koirala. Jaya Krishna Yadav and Brahma Dev Yadav were elected members from Madhesi quota.

Similarly, Hari Kumar Rai has been picked as Secretary under open category, while Ambika Bhandari was elected as the treasurer, Rita Moktan, Til Kumari Sharma and Rejina Gautam as the members.
Keshab Lama and Ganesh Sampang have been elected as members from inclusive category. Santosh Ruchal was elected member from Dalit quota and Eklab Ahamad member from minority quota.
