Education Minister directs schools not to increase educational fee

Bhaktapur, April 27 : Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Girirajmani Pokharel, has directed the private schools not to charge additional fee against the fee determined by the government.
Talking to media persons in Bhaktapur, Minister Pokharel directed the schools not to charge extra fee, adding that complaints that schools have been charging additional fee in a monopolistic manner have increased.

He said that the Ministry has asked the local levels to control the school fee hike immediately and added that the government was committed to take action against those schools turning deaf ears to this directive.
The Education Minister directed the schools not to make students stay in line to welcome dignitaries visiting the schools or village, saying it was wrong trend.(RSS)
