Lalitpur, April 26 : Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that there was no meaning of communist movement of Nepal forgetting leaders like Manamohan Adhikari.
Prime Minister Oli said so at a programme organised by Manamohan Memorial Foundation on the occasion of 19th Memorial Day of founder chairperson of CPN (UML) and former Prime Minister, Manamohan Adhikari, here today.
On the occasion, he said that the CPN (UML) has honoured Adhikari after establishing both private and community organisations in his name.


Prime Minister Oli said, “CPN (UML) has never forgotten Adhikari. We are actively engaged to fulfill Adhikari’s dreams.”
He said unification among communist parties was the dream of Adhikari, which is going to be fulfilled soon, adding that the announcement of party unification between CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoist Centre) would be made soon.
Similarly, former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal said adhikari was a leader one who put his faith on action instead of post while another former Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal said that the democratic and progressive constitution has also guided the socialism to move ahead.


Likewise, CPN (UML) Vice-Chairperson Bamdev Gautam and Defence Minister, Ishwor Pokhrel, also the Secretary of the Foundation, remembered about Adhikari’s contribution.
On the occasion, CPN (UML) leaders and cadres garland the statue of Adhikari.(RSS)
