Plan afoot to provide drinking water to rural areas

Banepa, Kavrepalanchok, April 21 : Minister for Drinking Water Bina Magar and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota jointly inaugurated a lift drinking water project at Sanga of Banepa Municipality-13 in Kavrepalanchok on Saturday.
On the occasion, Minister Magar said the Ministry was moving ahead with a plan to provide drinking water to rural areas, and construct drainage and roads.

She also pointed out challenges in providing drinking water to all rural areas.
Likewise, Minister Magar said the Ministry was working to provide drinking water across the country.
“The Ministry is searching for locations to install tube-wells in hilly areas as well. Water lifting technology will be prioritised,” she informed.(RSS)
