NC leader Poudel accuses govt of totalitarian
Chitwan, April 21 (RSS): Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel on Saturday accused the government of imposing totalitarianism, and being anti-federalist. “Attempts are afoot to terrorise constitutional bodies. This indicates the government is advancing towards totalitarianism. Now Nepal is being entangled in monopoly of leaders,” he said while inaugurating national gathering and statute convention of the Nepal Livestock Technology Association here.
He also suggested that the government should live up to promises doled out to the people during elections. He also wished the unification between the CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist Centre).
The conference that will run until Sunday will discuss ways to run the Association in line with the federal setup, said the Association’s Central President Janak Rawal.
