Motorcyclist killed in accident

Chitwan, July 23ः  A person died last night when his motorbike collided with a stationary truck along the Narayangarh-Muglin road section. The motorcyclist, aged around 30, died in the accident, according to the information provided by the District Police Office, Chitwan. However, the deceased is yet to be identified.

A motorbike (Na 42 Pa 4929) heading to Ramnagar from Narayangarh had knocked a pedestrian before colliding with the truck (Na 5 Kha 2246). The accident took place while the motorbike rider was trying to run away after knocking Om Prasad Bhusal, 50, of Bharatpur metropolis-1.

Critically injured motorcyclist died while undergoing treatment at Bharatpur Hospital. Bhusal sustained minor injuries in the accident. Police impounded both motorbike and truck for further investigation into the accident. Search for the absconding truck driver is underway, police said. RSS
