Balen showed signs of improvement by withdrawing the warning to set fire to singha durbar
Kathmandu Sep 4 : Kathmandu Metropolitan City Chief Balendra Shah Balen has retracted the warning to set fire to Singha Darbar. Earlier, he had warned the government to set fire to the Singha Durbar by calling the government a thief because the police had stopped a vehicle of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City. He has withdrawn the warning to set fire to Singha Darbar and indicated that he will improve. He made his comments about the government and the warning to set fire to the Singha Durbar not visible on Facebook.
It is not clear whether he deleted the post or made it visible only to himself. But Balen may have backed down after many criticized the warning to set fire to the Singha Darbar. On Saturday night, he set fire to Facebook after the police interrogated the municipal vehicle riding Balenpatni, who was returning from the hospital after breastfeeding her daughter, at Koteshwar Chowk. Balen felt that it was a mistake and removed it from social media. Despite the removal of Balen’s warning, the screen short saved by lakhs is going viral again saying that Balen has removed the status.
