Kathmandu, 21 Feb: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist) and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has requested to pay special attention to the preservation of the original festivals and culture of different communities in the country.
On the occasion of Gyalpo Lhosar, he issued a message of greetings today, he said that the festival culture traditionally celebrated by different ethnic communities in Nepali society, which has multi-ethnic, multilingual and multicultural characteristics, has made the country culturally rich.
He emphasized on the need to promote such festivals which are connected with human civilization as well as to unite the Nepalese society with diverse castes, languages and cultures. In the message, wishing the happiness, peace, prosperity and progressive progress of all Nepalis at home and abroad, through the federal democratic republic system, social justice, equality will be maintained and the unity of the people of the mountains, hills and Terai will be strengthened and the development and prosperity through the common efforts of all will contribute to nation building. It has been said.
It is mentioned in the message that the festival will establish mutual respect, tolerance, harmony and unity among each other by reviving the traditional original culture.
