Nuwakot leaders demand upgrading of roads

Kathmandu, June 13 : Political leaders from Nuwakot district have met Minister for Physical Infrastructures and Transport, Raghubir Mahaseth, and demanded him to upgrade three roadways reaching Rasuwagadhi from Trishuli bazaar.

Tokha-Keyrong, Galchhi-Trishuli and roadways under the Pasang Lhamu Highway were muddy in rainy season while dusty and filled with potholes other time needing instant repair, according to a team led by former lawmaker Rajendra Lohani.

He added that the roadways were in sorry state, so Minister Mahaseth was urged to pay attention to this regard.
On the occasion, Minister Mahaseth inquired Director with Regional Road Directorate why the traffic was obstructed on Tokha-Chhahare road and directed to ease the traffic.
