Chief Minister Pokharel urges public hospitals to provide quality health services

Butwal, April 14 : Province-5 Chief Minister Shanker Pokharel urged the public hospitals and health facilities to perform in a more responsible and accountable way.

Opening the ‘Responsibility towards health, base for prosperity: Our campaign for health access for all’ at Lumbini Zonal Hospital in Butwal today, Chief Minister Pokharel directed the public hospitals to provide effective health services to the people by best utilizing the available resources and human capital.

He further stressed the need to create an environment to provide all health related services in province-level hospital so that no patient needs to go outside for health treatment.

The campaign was initiated under the premiership of province-5 chief secretary Shanker Pathak.
As part of the national programme of the Nepal government, the campaign was kicked off in all provinces including province-5 today. RSS
