Chair of China Commercial Stock Enterprises calls on President Bhandari

– Surendra Bahadur Nepali Beijing, April 28  Chairman of the Economic Joint Committee of China Commercial Stock Enterprises, Wang Fuking, and the top officials of Nepal-China Economic and Trade Forum, called on President Bidya Devi Bhandari here today.

On the occasion, President Bhandari expressed thanks for the establishment of the Nepal-China Economic and Trade Forum and said that both countries are good neighbours, and China has made significant contribution to Nepal’s development endeavours. She urged the Chinese investors to invest in Nepal, saying the investment climate in Nepal was conducive and the need for economic development has also increased.

The Chinese side informed that discussions would be held in the Forum on trade, cooperation and investment. Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Chief Minister of State-3 Dormani Poudel, Ambassador of Nepal to China Leela Mani Poudyal, China’s Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqi, high officials of the Government of Nepal and representatives of the private sector were present in the meeting.(RSS)
