KMC honours 10 various individuals on its 30th Establishment Day
14 Dec, Kathmandu : The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has honoured 10 different individuals with Rs 150,000 each on the occasion of its 30th Establishment Day.
At a programme organized by KMC here today, 10 individuals including painter Kiran Manandhar were honoured with cash prize.
Folk singer Kumar Basnet, painter Kiran Manandhar, Dr Arun Sayami, former mayor of KMC, PL Singh, artist Narendra Kansakar, litterateur Malla K Sundar were honoured.
Other personalities honoured by KMC are Taekwondo player Sangina Baidya, volleyball player Pratibha Mali, ultra marathon runner Mina Rai and cricketer Gyanendra Malla.
On the occasion, all 32 wards of KMC performed their cultural processions.
