Sudurpaschim Royals posts target of 188 runs before Lumbini Royals
7 Dec, Kathmandu : Sudurpaschim Royals has posted a target of 188 runs before Lumbini Lions in today’s first match held under Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Invited to bat first after losing a toss at Kirtipur-based TU Cricket Ground, Sudurpaschim Royals made 187 runs in 20 overs losing four wickets.
For Sudurpaschim, Saif Zaib scored the highest 90 runs in 61 balls with five sixes and six fours. Similarly, Dipendra Singh Airee gathered 39, Brandon McMullen 23, Binod Bhandari 17 and Scott Kuggeleijn 11 runs. Sudurpaschim Royals had got seven extra runs to its total.
Similarly, for Lumbini, Ramon Simmonds took highest two wickets while Captain Rohit Paudel and Bibek Yadav one wicket each.
