Nepal gains ODI status
Kathmandu, March 15: For the first time in cricket history, Nepal has won the one-day international (ODI) status until the upcoming four years.
Nepal is sure to get the ODI status after Nepal beat Papua New Guinea by six wickets and the Netherlands defeated Hong Kong by 44 runs in the ICC World Cup Qualifier held in Zimbabwe on Thursday.
With this success, Nepal would get chance to participate in different tournaments organized by ICC while ICC’s support to Nepal’s cricket would be upped further.
Likewise, with the defeat of PNG, its ODI title has transferred to Nepal. (RSS)
