Dolpa, Nov 5: Ten people were killed and two others have sustained injuries when a jeep fell into the Thuli Bheri River at Batase Odhar of Thuli Bheri Municipality – 9 today. The jeep (Bhe 1 Cha 1610) was en route to Tripurakot from Dunai, the district headquarters.


Twelve people were raveling in the jeep. The Chief District Officer (CDO) Bhupendra Thapa said ten people were killed on the spot. The victims have not been identified.
The bodies of the deceased have been taken out of the river and taken to the District Hospital for a post mortem. CDO Thapa said two people were rescued from the river.
