How much is the dividend, bonus and cash announced by Machhapuchhre Bank?

Kathmandu, Aug 30: Machhapuchhre Bank Limited has declared dividend. The meeting of the board of directors of the bank, which was held in the morning of August 13, proposed the dividend for the financial year 2079/80. The bank has proposed to distribute a total of 14% dividend as a bonus of 13.30% of the current paid-up capital and 0.70% cash for tax purposes.

According to the bank, the proposed dividend will be distributed to the shareholders after the approval of Nepal Rastra Bank at the next annual general meeting. Machhapuchhre became the first bank to declare dividend for the last financial year. As the bank could not provide the primary capital fund, it was not able to distribute dividends to the shareholders from the profits of the financial year 2078/79. This time, the bank has proposed 14 percent dividend from the profits of two financial years
