CPN Secretariat meeting coming Sunday
Kathmandu, Oct 5 : The next meeting of CPN Secretariat is scheduled for coming Sunday. The meeting will discuss the party unification process between the then CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist at province, district and sister organizations level as well as the functioning of the incumbent government.
The meeting has been summoned after Prime Minister and CPN Chairperson KP Sharma Oli and another Chairperson of the same party Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ met at the PM’s official residence, Baluwatar, on Friday and decided the date for the next meeting, according to Chairperson Dahal’s Press Advisor, Bishnu Sapkota.
PM Oli returned home from the US on Thursday representing Nepali delegation to the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly held in the UN headquarters, New York.
Although the party unification process at the central and provincial level has been forwarded, party unification at the province, district and sister organizations has not moved an inch further. The next meeting of the CPN Secretariat is expected to take necessary decision on the same.(RSS)
