Kathmandu, 27 Feb: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a normal decline today. Today, NEPSE index decreased by 3.65 points to 2023.54 points. Today, 51 lakh 20 thousand eight hundred and 88 shares of 259 companies were bought and sold 37 thousand three hundred and 38 times, with a transaction amounting to Rs.37,36,000.

The sub-indices of hotels and tourism, mutual funds, non-life insurance, business and other groups have increased, while the sub-indices of all other groups have decreased. Hotel and tourism group increased by 43.81 points, mutual fund group by 0.07 points, non-life insurance group by 7.27 points, business group by 12.65 points and other groups by 11.80 points.

Today, the microfinance group’s sub-index decreased the most by 39.38 points. Similarly, banking group decreased by 1.38 points, development bank group by 13.08 points, finance group by 28.47 points and hydropower group by 7.41 points. The investment, life insurance and production group sub-indices showed a decline of 0.34, 8.96 and 23.37 points, respectively, according to nepse.

After today’s trading, the share price of Swavalamban Laguvitta Financial Sanstha Limited increased by 9.73 percent. Rapti Hydro and General Construction Limited’s share price decreased by 6.43 percent. Based on the transaction amount, the most shares of Himalayan Distillery Limited worth Rs 6.68 lakh have been bought and sold today.
