Bhojpur’s tourist areas are overshadowed

Vhojpur, 24 Feb: Although there are many religious and touristic areas in Japur, these areas have been neglected. Taksar, where doli money was printed during the Rana period, Dingla, the historical area where Balaguru Shadananda Adhikari established the first Sanskrit school, Mazhuwabensi, the area where Krantiyoddha Yogamaya Jalasamadhi was taken, are dozens of historical and touristic areas, but these areas have not attracted the attention of the country.

There are many religious shrines here including Yogamaya’s Tapobhumi Gaudeni, the famous Shiddhakali Temple, Golmeraja Golmerani Bhir, Nagchanga, Chulachuli Cave, Salpasilichung, a religious and touristic area, Tripureshwar Mahadev, Santaneshwar Mahadev, which is called the second Halesi in Pauwadung village. Even the locals have little knowledge about these places.

Similarly, the district’s highest Change Falls, Silichung Chuchuro, Temkedanda, Myungdanda and other places are famous in the district. Tourist places can be easily enjoyed from these places. The population density here is low, especially due to the high migration rate. According to local experts, the development of such places will be directly affected as the population decreases. Historical Hatuwagadhi, Kotgadhi are also there.

Hatuwagarhi in Hatuwagarhi Rural Municipality and Kotgarhi in Pauwadung Rural Municipality are both anonymous. Although some of the historical heritages are protected at the local level, there are few foreign tourists because they are not recognized in the country and abroad. With the reduction of people’s residence, it seems that the movement of people in the touristic and religious areas has decreased.

The preliminary data of National Census BS. 2078 shows that the population of the district is negative. In the census of 2068, the total population of the district was 182 thousand 459. In the national census of BS. 2078, the population has decreased to 158,991. In ten years, the population here has decreased by 23,468. The population growth rate of the district is negative by 1.32 per year.
