An increase of 33.57 points in NEPSE

Kathmandu 22 Feb: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a high increase today. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 33.57 points to 2080.38 points. Today, 47 lakh 79 thousand 796 shares of 269 companies were bought and sold 39 thousand nine hundred and 96 times. After today’s business, microfinance, mutual fund and business group sub-indices have decreased by 61.50, 0.02 and 0.08 points respectively, while the sub-indices of all other groups have increased.

Today, the sub-index of life insurance group has increased by 196.36 points and the sub-index of non-life insurance group has increased by 180.85 points. Banking group increased by 16.83 points, development bank group by 80.54 points, finance group by 48.90 points and hotel and tourism group by 94.99 points.

Similarly, hydropower group increased by 96.92 points, investment group by 1.63 points, manufacturing group by 71.90 points and other groups by 26.25 points. Traders of Chyangdi Hydropower Limited have gained the most today by 9.80 percent, while the share price of Adarsh ​​Laguvitta Financial Sanstha Limited has taken a negative circuit.
