Kathmandu, July 29 : The National Vigilance Centre (NVC) has brought forth a new provision for some government bodies, changing the offices to submit their property details in line with federal system.

The offices for submitting the property details has been changed, said NVC’s Information Officer, Dalnath Aryal said, adding that employees at Offices of the President and Vice President can submit their property details to their respective offices. Similarly, Attorney General submits the property details to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, and Nepal Police and the Armed Police For to the Rastriya Kitabkhana. Civil servants and teachers are also to provide the property details to the Rastriya Kitabkhana.

The people’s representatives in the local levels and office bearers and members of the district coordination committee are required to submit their property details in the concerned offices. Province Chiefs provide the details to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, while the Chief Minister and the Minister to the office of the concerned Chief Minister.
Moreover, the provincial secretariat receives the property details from Speaker, Deputy Speaker and the province lawmakers. Those in the civil service need to submit their property details within 60 days of the completion of the fiscal year. The political appointees are also obliged to property submission within two months of the appointment.(RSS)
