UML calls SC meeting
Kathmandu, Nov 22 : The CPN (UML) has called its Standing Committee (SC) meeting at 3:00 this afternoon. The meeting is expected to hold discussions on some agendas including the nomination of five percent representatives for the party’s upcoming 10th national general convention. The party is nominating five percent of the total 1,999 representatives for the general convention.
According to UML central office’s secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang, the meeting called at Tulsilal Amatya Building in Chyasal would discuss about the preparations for the party’s general convention.
The UML has formed the main management committee under the command of party leader Ram Bahadur Thapa and various other committees for the party’s jamboree.
Likewise, the ongoing central committee meeting of the UML is also scheduled to meet a day before the inaugural session of the general convention. The party’s general convention is taking place from November 26-28 in Chitwan.
