Advanced Engineering Signs MoU with Azrieli College of Engineering
Kathmandu : Advanced College of Engineering and Management signed the MoU with Azrieli College of Engineering today. The MoU was signed between Advanced College of Engineering and Management, Kathmandu, Nepal and Azrieli College of Engineering, Jerusalem, Israel. On behalf of Advanced College, the chairperson of the college Mr. Ramesh Silwal signed the MoU whilst professor Rosa Azhari, the president of Azrieli College signed the MoU on behalf of Azrieli College of Engineering. The content of the MoU encompasses collaborations between two colleges in terms of techno friendly programs and development and dissemination of techo-driven projects in the future.
Mr. Ramesh Silwal, the chairperson of Advanced Engineering expressed his gratitude to professor Rosa Azhari, president of Azrieli College of Engineering for the partnership and for strengthening the relationship between two colleges. He affirmed that the affiliation will benefit both education and technology advancement which furthermore foster the field of academia and the industries as well.
Highlighting the affiliation and the possibilities of expanding the cooperation between the two institutions, Mr. Kapil Dev Regmi, executive director of Advanced Engineering rendered his opinion that such an alliance will improve the opportunities for students and faculty. He also assured that such association encourages as well as promotes STEM education. He further affirmed that the collaborative agreement will provide an important platform for both the parties to innovate and promote development in the field of technology and research as well as enhance the quality of education for the students.
In the meantime, there was a brief introduction of both colleges. Dr. Rafi Abiram, Chief Executive Officer of Azrieli College provided a brief information about Azrieli College of Engineering while Dr. Sangeeta Pradhan Joshi and Er. Sojan Prajapati introduced Advanced College, its programs and academia-industry interface.
Dr. Abiram conveyed his excitement about the future possibilities of the partnership and its potentialities to improve the value of education. Professor Rosa Azhari, president of Azrieli College of Engineering also rejoiced over this partnership. Dr. Anjaan Shakya, former Ambassador of Nepal to Israel congratulated both the institutions for the affiliation. His Excellency Hanan Godar, Ambassador of Israel to Nepal, stated that the signing of MoU is the expression of affinity that will further strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
The signing of the MoU provides an important platform for students and faculties of both colleges to learn from one another, stimulate innovative ideas, and contribute to the development of engineering and technology fields. This is also a great opportunity for both partners for collaborative agreements on professional development in faculty exchange programs, study abroad exchange programs, overseas internships, conferences, seminars, webinars, symposia, workshops, interaction programs between faculties, students and the industries for sharing innovative ideas for software development.
